Greenfields Greyhound Rescue was set up in the hope that we could make a small difference to the thousands of racing greyhounds which are abandoned ever year. We specialise in the rehoming of ex racing greyhounds and other sighthounds in Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, North Wales and Flintshire areas. We rely on the support of volunteers and the kind donations of the public to be able to rescue and rehome these gentle hounds.

Greyhound and Lurcher Welfare and Rescue was set up following the closure of the Glastonbury Racetrack, and concentrates on homing greyhounds and lurchers in the Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset areas.

We exist to fill the gap between rescues and new potential adopters in their quest to find the perfect home for the perfect dog.

Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed in most areas throughout the UK.

Greyhound Rescue North East is a small UK voluntary organisation dedicated to the work of re-homing retired Greyhounds. Most of our dogs have been rescued by Steven Duncan and kept in private kennels until the right home comes along. Since we are based in the North East, preference will be given to people living in this area, although we will consider surrounding areas including North Yorkshire.

We are Greyhound Rescue Shropshire and Borders, a subgroup of the RGT, and have been in operation properly since October 2006. Our aims are to rehome as many greyhounds and lurchers as possble and to raise people's awareness of the plight and nature of these gentle and affectionate dogs. Our kennels, The Moorlands, are situated in Condover just outside of Shrewsbury in a beautiful rural setting. Our greyhounds are supported by the RGT and our lurchers, who are so dear to many of our hearts are funded by us. We typically have up to thirty dogs in the kennels at any one time, so there is always a real variety! If you see any dog(s) you like please contact Sue to arrange a convenient time to visit and we can arrange a homecheck with you. We can and have re-homed dogs all over the
country but you must be homechecked before you can take a dog. All our dogs leave us with a collar, muzzle and lead. They will have been neutered and vaccinated, received any medical treatment needed from our vets and the greyhounds will also have four weeks free pet insurance with Pet Plan. We do have an adoption fee which we can discuss with you when you come to look at a dog.

GRWE currently covers all counties from Cornwall, across to Bedfordshire and northwest to Cheshire.

At any one time they care for 60 to 70 dogs. Homechecks are always carried out first, and around 500 dogs were placed into suitable loving homes last year.

We are a small, friendly charitable organisation based in the North East of England and, as the name suggests, we are dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of greyhounds and lurchers.

Our dogs come to us from various sources; from the Local Authority's stray dog kennels, trainer / owners, through to vets receiving injured dogs and we offer a welcome reprieve for those waiting to be put to sleep.

Established in December 2005, we have already taken in 90 dogs and re-homed 63.

Sighthounds Online is a registered charity that aims to offer a lifeline to sighthounds in need.

We came into being in 2004 when a website and forum were set up where people could come together and raise funds for needy causes, share information and experience of their particular breeds, and to raise awareness of the plight of racing greyhounds and other sighthounds.
