 is a 7 month old lurcher boy who came into our care recently. |
Sparky He is Hancock bred and is 1/2 greyhound 1/2 beardie collie. Sadly for Sparky and his owner, they had to reluctantly part due to Sparky being bullied by the other dogs and the owner was worried that Sparky would get harmed. Sparky is very collie like in appearance and has a typically collie coat as opposed to a rough coated lurcher coat. He is only a small boy and I would imagine he wouldn't make much more than 23-24 inches fully grown. Sparky is a very obedient little dog and is fabulous off lead, he is great with other dogs, children and could be taught to live with cats. As with all puppies Sparky will need someone around most of the time and would adore a playful companion. He has to this point lived out so will need work with his house training but is proving to be a clean boy in kennels. Sparky travels well although he used to be car sick. This has now stopped but he isnt overly keen on getting into a car to begin with so may need to be lifted and a little work put in with this. Sparky is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, treated for parasites and microchipped and will be castrated this coming week. Contact organisation: Greyhound Gap (Website)
